New seat cushions for our chairs around the table. Made from vintage grain sacks (farm core?). These chairs (and the table) have been in the family for years and were originally caned. Look a little similar to these folks....

The Matchup

Little League World Series Championship game today, Huntington Beach vs. Japan. Should be some good baseball.

Chore Boy

Powr House jacket from Montgomery Ward picked up from the Rose Bowl. Everything is in good order except for the removal of the top front pockets. Nicely worked in, soft with good stitching. I had two new pockets added to the interior with Boro scraps from Tricot and ghosted the exterior pockets in remembrance. Should be good for the colder wood shed days...

A Joke

A guy sits in his house one day, when he hears a knock at his front door. When he opens the door he sees a small snail at his feet.
The man picks it up, looks at it for a second, throws it across the street and closes his door.
A year goes by and the man goes about his normal business, when one day now a year and a half later, he hears a knock at his front door.
when he opens the door he sees the snail who says
"what did you do that for?"
